Planting Strawberry Seedlings Posted on April 9, 2013 by Lynda I added a Strawberry bed to the front yard vegetable garden last week. The new plants were so small, I decided to use take-out chopsticks to mark their placement. With the chopstick markers, I was able to apply a straw mulch without smothering the new plants.
